Lyanna Stark Fancast Resource
"Lyanna is described by a couple of people as beautiful. Though Maester Yandel describes her as "a wild and boyish young thing with none of the Princess Elia's delicate beauty", Kevan Lannister recalls Lyanna having a "wild beauty" about her. According to her brother Eddard Stark, Lyanna had been a child-woman of surpassing loveliness. She was slim of frame. Arya Stark, with her brown hair, long face and grey eyes, resembles Lyanna in appearance, according to Eddard. Margaery Tyrell, also brown of hair, is believed by some to resemble Lyanna, though Eddard disagrees." (x)
Also, though Lyanna is often fancast (fancasted?) as an adult, she was canonically only 16 when she died.
MACKENZIE FOY - CLARA (THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS)
Mackenzie Foy is probably my favorite fancast for Lyanna. She really fits my mental image of her, including the fiery attitude. Nutcracker and the Four Realms has Victorian fantasy costumes rather than medieval or Renaissance fantasy, but it still works pretty well in my opinion. Mackenzie was roughly 16 during filming.
HAILEE STEINFELD - JULIET (ROMEO & JULIET)
Hailee Steinfeld is one of my favorite fancasts for Lyanna for many of the same reasons I like her for Margaery. She was 16 when filming R&J and has a great mix of sweetness and feistiness in the role. The costume design in the film fits Westerosi fashion well, and there’s a lot of good content since she’s playing the film’s lead.
GEORGIE HENLEY - LUCY PEVENSIE (PRINCE CASPIAN and THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER)
Georgie was 12/13 when filming Prince Caspian and 14/15 when filming The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. She has plenty of footage great medievalish clothing in both films (although her clothing in the latter is more masculine). I particularly like to use her for content involving Ned, because Skandar Keynes plays her older brother in both films and makes a great Ned.
OLIVIA HUSSEY - JULIET (ROMEO & JULIET)
Another Juliet! Olivia is a common fancast for Lyanna, and I like her as well. She was 15 when she began filming Zeffirelli's Romeo & Juliet. She has several different outfits and plenty of footage.
ANAMARIA VARTOLOMEI - LOUISE ELISABETH (THE ROYAL EXCHANGE)
Anamaria isn't a fancast I've ever personally used, but I love other people's content of her, and I will probably use her at some point in the future. She was roughly 17 when filming The Royal Exchange (titled L'echange des princesses in French), and she's particularly good for content focused on Lyanna's rebellious side, since she just looks so pissed off for so much of the movie.
CASSIDY - SELAH (THE OTHER LAMB)
Raffey is a much more common fancast for Arya, usually using her younger footage from Snow White and the Huntsman, but I like her for Lyanna as well. She doesn't have any explicitly period films as a teenager, but she was roughly 15 when filming The Other Lamb, and if you get a little creative, she still has a usable aesthetic.
ALICIA AGNESON - KATIA (VIKINGS)
Alicia is technically too old for Lyanna, having played Katia at ~24, but I do like her anyway because she just has such a spot-on aesthetic. Be aware that she appeared as a different character earlier in the show, but with blonde hair.
JESSICA BROWN-FINDLAY - ALAIS PELLETIER DU MAS (LABYRINTH)
Also slightly too old, roughly 22 during filming, Jessica is still a fancast I like a lot for Lyanna. She's easy to pair with many Arya fancasts for comparisons, and the costuming for Labyrinth is actually medieval, which can be tough to find.
ADELAIDE KANE - MARY, QUEEN OF SCOTS (REIGN)
Adelaide is another one who's too old for Lyanna, being in her 20s during production of Reign, but she's a common fancast and does fit Lyanna's aesthetic well. There's also an abundance of useful footage of her, since she played the lead in a 5-season show set during the Renaissance.
As usual, feel free to add your own! The full set of fancast posts can be found here.

Strange Nights | Vampire!Dr Strange x Y/n
Stephen felt very much at peace after giving up the title of sorcerer supreme and settling back into the old habits of a surgeon. He had thought being a vampire would be a major drawback until it had healed his hands. Until he had people who he could call family. However, once he laid his eyes on her, he was back into the chaos of the mystic world he had so called forsaken.
Y/n Henley, a twenty year orphan; lives in a world where the Avengers suddenly disappeared after bringing an end to a zombie apocalypse. When her father dies, her estranged uncle welcomes her to live with his family in the Rockport. And when she decides to do so, the spiral of events sets her together with the man she had been looking of in another life.
⚠️Few chapters depict blood, violence and adult content
Masterlist
How it began...
Dr. Stephen Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme, one of the survivors of a zombie apocalypse wielded the Time Stone to venture into different possibilities of how the apocalypse would end. The most effective way is to broadcast the energy of Mind, Soul and Power Stones together to revert the zombies into humans. But every victory comes with a price to pay - a price which he hasn’t made his new-found-team aware of. Though there wouldn’t be zombies anymore, other supernatural beings - vampires and werewolves - shall begin to rise. Was it was due to mutations caused in certain affected and unaffected humans or due to awakening of legends that were just considered fictional and mythological? Supernaturals, which they shall effectively keep under control unlike the zombies but they might be turning into them in their fight against them. But remembering the near demise of the universe, he believed in atomising the Infinity stones and; restricting witchcraft and mystic arts for the best of the world.

At Last
Dean Winchester x Reader
Summary: After a long visit with family, you return home to the one you find yourself thinking about most.
Requested by Anonymous: “If your requests are still open, think you feel like doing something where the reader is visiting with her family, and they get along fine but her family stays up too late partying and drinking meanwhile reader just wants to go home and cuddle with Dean? Thnx hon :) if requests are not open, feel free to ignore”
Word Count: 1.9k
Warnings: mentions of alcohol, fluff, kissing
You let out a sigh as you sit back against the seat of your car, the bunkers garage quiet as you sat there for a moment. It was just past midnight, your body fatigued from the day you’d had but it was good nonetheless. It was good, but you were happy to be home by the end of it.
Your family had been in town, something they always did twice a year and you were fortunate the get-together’s had been so close to home. You loved them dearly, they were a lively crowd and they always were, but it was a quality you found you couldn’t quite keep up with no matter how much time you spent together.
Once it hit ten o’clock that night, you found yourself growing tired, the hours of socializing having started to wear on you despite how good of a time you’d had that day. You were full from dinner, the Kansas heat having still had its hold despite the sun having gone down. Then eleven o’clock rolled around just as quickly, the group still having been just as full of energy as they’d had been the entirety of that day as a new pack of beers had been tapped into.
You wouldn’t say you couldn’t handle staying up late, you were used to late night trips for hunts and hours of research but you found that to be different now. You were tired, and you couldn’t think of anything better than going home to Dean.
Presently, you found yourself in the very place you’d longed to be, home.
You twisted the key and turned the car off, switching off the lights before getting out. The sight of the Impala sitting pretty in its usual parking spot had you smiling softly, had your heart skipping a beat at the mere thought of the Winchester in particular that it belonged to. He was just paces away now, and you felt you couldn’t be happier.
Hanging your keys on the hook by the door, you stepped up into the bunker, closing the old wooden door behind you. The lights had since been dimmed in the hall, the whole place quiet save for the sound of your footfalls. Quiet save for the metallic clinks sounding loudly when you trip over the trash can sitting by the door in the hall.
Your eyes fall closed as your cheeks burn at the sheer noise, nose scrunched at the echo on the walls as you stand there for a moment. The silence in the bunker was near deafening after that, a huff leaving your lips when you bend over and stand it upright once more.
The first thing you noticed after your clumsy accident was the smell, the burning smell sitting high in the air with a hint of apple and cinnamon mingling in with it. It was something that led you to the kitchen first, your brow raising as you turned the main light on. There were no traces of anything on the counters, nothing on the floor, not even a dish in the sink save for Dean’s mug. It was the oven that initially gave it away, that very same smell wafting your way once you opened the door.
With that, you spun on your heel, eyes landing on the garbage can standing alone by the stainless steel kitchen island. You stepped on the pedal and watched as the lid lifted up, a smile tugging at the corners of your mouth. It was then that you saw the burnt remains of what looked to be pie crust, the cinnamon coated apple slices having splayed and mixed with it at the bottom of the back. A soft laugh left your lips, your head shaking.
You switched off the light on your way out, your smile still lingering at the thought of Dean Winchester trying, and failing, to bake a pie.
You let the lid to the trash can fall, a voice sound behind you abrupt enough to make you jump.
“Who’s there?”
You spun on your heel, breath hitching in the first second and your eyes rolling in the next. “Your gun, Dean. Really?”
He lowers it and tucks it back in the belt of his jeans, the corners of his mouth quirking up. “What? Gotta take my precautions, sweetheart. Besides, don’t I look cool when I do that?”
Your pursed lips turn to a smile, one very much giving away the fact that something teasing was on the very tip of your tongue. He knows that for a fact, his smile fading in realization. “Do you really want me to answer that?”
There it is.
His eyes roll as his lips purse, an expression he finds he can’t hold with what he’s got next. “I knew who it was. There’s only one person who can trip over that trash can no matter how far out of the way it is.”
Your frown is immediate, brows knit together as he tips his head back to laugh.
“Not funny, Winchester,” you huff, walking into his arms as they envelope you in the very embrace you’d been thinking about ever since you left that day.
It was tight and warm, near bone crushing as he all but lifted you off your feet. Your frown was quick to dissolve in favor of a smile, one that was squished against his chest as your cheek pressed to flannel and Henley all smelling every bit like Dean and a hint like his favorite fabric softener. His cheek rested atop your head, squeezing you even tighter if that’d been possible.
“Did you have a good time?” He asks, voice softer as the teasing in his tone fell away.
“Mhm,” you hum, eyes falling closed for a moment. “Tired is all.”
“You missed me, didn’t you?” He chuckles.
“Don’t let it go to your head, Winchester,” you mumble, your smile in your voice. You could feel his laughter some more then, your grip loosening to look up at him. “‘M serious.”
“Yeah yeah, I’ll bet you are,” he hums, dipping down and pressing his lips on yours. It was soft and sweet, something paired with his hug that you found you missed more than you’d ever admit even if you were apart for only a few hours.
He parts for a moment at the feel of your laughter brushing against his lips, kissing you once, twice, three more times before his intrigue gets the better of him. He pulls back to look at you, brow raised in his curiosity as the corner of his mouth quirks up.
“When were you going to tell me you tried to bake a pie?” You ask, your grin teasing.
He lets out a laugh as he scratches the back of his neck, turning his head away from you for just a moment or two. You can see he’s just the slightest bit embarrassed by his blunder and the smell that made it hard to forget, more so when you’re giving him that look that lets him know you’re not letting him live it down. But the look he gives you then softens from the scrunch it once was, his tongue swiping across his lips.
“I uh,” he starts, heaving a sigh, “I tried to bake you a pie for when you got home. Turns out I’m not Rachael Ray.”
“Does Rachael Ray even bake?” You ask, eyes squinting as you pretend to think it over.
“Oh shut it,” he says with a smile, kissing you once more before you can say another word.
You leaned up on your toes and wrapped your arms around his shoulders, your smile pressing against his lips and mingling warmly with his own. His stubble was rough against your skin, something that only widens the smile you’ve got as your hand settles in his cheek, another soft kiss pressed to his lips.
“That was sweet, De. I mean it.”
He’s got that smile on his face when you stand flat on your feet once more, that smile that’s all kinds of soft and sweet, that smile that’s been reserved solely for you. The one that he swears is just coincidence because he swears he’s this gruff, tough guy, and while he is—he’s also the softest at heart and that’s something he can’t argue with you on.
He takes notice of your yawn, of the tiredness in your eyes as you look at him and he chuckles.
“Alright, sleepyhead, c’mon,” he says, spinning in his heel and walking ahead with a loose grip on your hand as he turned the kitchen light off on his way out of the room.
It was comfortably quiet as you walked in the hall, the only sound having been the thud of his boots and the quieter thud of yours. It was just that until you approached your room, the familiar golden eleven sitting shining on the wooden door.
You could hear the tv filter out into the hall, muffled until he’d opened the door. The lamp was on as it sat on the nightstand, the blankets on the bed folded back and ready for you to climb under them. Your favorite show had been on, partway through a rerun episode, the show Dean insisted he hated though you knew better than to believe that even for a minute.
You were quick to step out of your boots, and change from your jeans as Dean did the same. He shrugged off his flannel and extended his arm out to you, a knowing smile on his lips. You took the shirt from his hand in an instant, a grin of your own forming as you pulled it on in place of your shirt, fastening a couple of the buttons before getting in bed.
His shirt was warm as it blanketed around you, the faint smell of his cologne having lingered on the fabric. But, it was no match for the man sitting down next to you.
His arm circled around your waist within moments of him getting in bed, quick to tug you in close as you got comfortable on his chest, leg swinging to rest over his waist. He let out a content hum, his smile soft as it sat pretty on his lips.
This was the very thing you’ve been longing for the moment you left that day, the thing you found yourself thinking about more often than not. Because this, moments like these, they were ones that mattered most to you and moments you held onto each and every time they happened.
His arm was heavy around you, the tips of his fingers brushing absentmindedly over your arm as he watched tv. It wasn’t until you looked up at him that he met your gaze, no matter how tired you were. You leaned up and pressed a kiss to his lips, lingering and soft.
“Night, De,” you mumble against his lips, kissing him once more before dipping down to lay back on his chest.
You felt the press of his lips on your forehead, the scratch of his stubble against your skin. “Night, sweetheart.”
After a long day, you were right where you wanted to be at last.

Georgie Henley for The Times of London - ‘There is pressure on child actors not to admit it’s hard’
She had a ball as a child playing Lucy in the Narnia films, but her schoolmates were unkind — not that it stopped her. Now she’s on the London stage // Keep reading for full interview
Georgie Henley vividly remembers her first day in Narnia. She was eight years old, 12,000 miles from home and surrounded by a film crew waiting for her to act on camera for the first time. Henley was playing Lucy, the plucky youngest child of the Pevensie family in the Walt Disney film version of CS Lewis’s wartime fantasy classic The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. On the first take she looked at the camera because she didn’t know better. That error aside, she thought she spoke her lines all right. Yet the director, Andrew Adamson, kept asking her to do the scene again. And again. And again.
After about an hour of this she started welling up. Adamson came over and asked why she was upset. “And I just said, ‘I’m getting it wrong, that’s why you keep doing it over and over again, isn’t it?’ And he said, ‘No, we have to position the camera in different places, we do different shots and then we edit them together.’ ” She laughs at the thought. “I mean, it’s basic stuff, but I didn’t know because I was just plucked from nowhere.”
Now 22, Henley has just started her first professional stage role. She is starring in Angry, a collection of monologues by the restlessly provocative playwright Philip Ridley at the Southwark Playhouse in south London. She is upbeat, articulate and aware of the negative narrative that surrounds child actors and quietly determined to buck it.
She is hugely grateful for her experience on the three Chronicles of Narnia films: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in 2005, Prince Caspian in 2008 and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 2010. They have set her up financially, so that after finishing her degree in English at Cambridge University in 2016, she was able to move to a flat of her own in London. Unlike some other child actors, she says, who get pressured to support their families, her parents — Mike, a former solicitor who now works for HSBC, and Helen, who chaperoned her on all three Narnia films — made sure she kept her earnings.
“And I don’t take any of this for granted,” she says. “To have a franchise at a young age, it’s what a lot of actors spend their whole lives trying to get because you have guaranteed work and a guaranteed pay cheque. Not that I really thought about that at the time.” On the first film she didn’t even realise she was being paid. She did by the second film. “But it was like Monopoly money to me.”
Yet while she thinks there is “scaremongering” about what it’s like to be a child actor, she is quick to admit that it had a big impact on her school life. It happened almost by accident: a casting director, Pippa Hall, who had discovered Jamie Bell for Billy Elliot, held an audition at the drama club to which the seven-year-old Henley went each Tuesday after school in Ilkley, Yorkshire. “I was just lucky,” she says. She laughs awkwardly at the suggestion that, however she got the job, she was unusually good once she started doing it. “Thank you! I can’t cope with people saying nice things to me.”
She was “quite a weird child; on the fringe socially, just always off in my own world”. At first she thought she was auditioning for a panto in Bradford. As the process dragged on for months, and she started to travel down to London to audition alongside children from stage schools, she and her parents got to realise what it might involve. In fact, her parents pulled her out of the process when they were told it would involve four months filming in Canada. Her older sisters Rachael (who played the older version Lucy in the first film) and Laura stepped in, insisting that this was too big an opportunity to pass up. Her parents relented. Whereupon it became seven months in New Zealand instead.
“It changed my life,” Henley says. “It sounds cheesy, but it’s true. And I didn’t know anything. All I knew was what I had learnt in my drama club every Tuesday, and having parents who never told me to be quiet or anything, who liked me for being a little bit odd.”
Filming, give or take that first-day wobble, was wonderful. She apologises again for cheesiness. “It was like this magic thing. Every day it was a new costume, a new setting, new creatures to imagine you were talking to.” She watched the first film again two Christmases ago with her grandmother and enjoyed it. Certain memories from filming linger more than others: the day she played mini golf with Tilda Swinton, who was playing the White Witch, or the surprise party on set for her ninth birthday, when her father and sisters flew out to join her mother. “It was one of the best days of my life. It was just amazing. But it’s so funny when I meet children that age now and I think, ‘You are tiny.’ I remember what I was doing at that age and I can’t believe it.”
She has kept in touch with her co-stars, although they are rarely in the same room together. William Moseley, who played the oldest boy, Peter, acts in Hollywood. Anna Popplewell, who played Susan, still acts and lives round the corner from Henley in north London. Skandar Keynes, who played the younger brother, Edmund, overlapped with Henley at Cambridge. He was in his final year when she was in her first, but by that time he had stopped acting. “Nobody else will ever be able to understand what we did together. It’s this crazy, amazing thing. You just can’t explain it.”
As well as filming in New Zealand — and Eastern Europe and Australia in the later films — there was foreign travel for publicity junkets. She has visited Japan three times, she says, but doesn’t feel she knows the place since she spent most of her time there in hotel rooms. The same goes for New York. She will never forget being 15, waking up in her hotel room in Tokyo and remembering that she had a mock chemistry GCSE to do. She kept up with school work through tutors. The child actors shared classrooms as well as dressing rooms while on location.
Returning to normal life between films was difficult, though. Her family did a great job of keeping her feet on the ground, she says. They are all “very close”. However, she struggled when she got to Bradford Grammar School when she was 11. “Secondary school is where I struggled. I loved the work side of school, I loved learning, but the social side was a minefield. And part of that was worsened by the films that I had done, by me being in and out of school.
“There is such a pressure on child stars not to admit that it’s hard. To smile in interviews and say, ‘Yeah, I love my double life,’ and pretend they are a special agent or something. Because if they admit that it’s hard sometimes they sound like they are difficult.” She wouldn’t change anything about the films, but wishes she hadn’t played her achievement down so much when at school. She didn’t act in anything at school until her final year. “It was that thing of not wanting to put your head above the parapet for fear of it being sliced off, but I should have had the confidence to be proud of what I did. I was bullied mercilessly; people were so awful to me at school. It was amazing getting to uni and people being, like, ‘That’s so cool!’ And I was, like, ‘I know, right, isn’t it?’
“So I wish I could say to the 13-year-old me, ‘Be proud of what you’ve accomplished.’ And that doesn’t mean being arrogant. They are not the same. I think I conflated the two things.”
At university she studied English, but did theatre too. “You can experiment and f*** up or succeed, and if you do well nobody cares a week later and if you f*** up nobody cares a week later.”
She wrote and directed a couple of short films while there. She also kept up her film acting, although without Narnia budgets. In Perfect Sisters she played one of two Canadian teens plotting to kill their mother. The Sisterhood of Night, an American film, was a bit like The Crucible reworked for the age of social media. She also made Access All Areas, which was about a bunch of teenagers who go on the run to an island music festival. “It was amazing to be doing different characters,” she says. “People thought it was me trying to get away from the Lucy Pevensie thing, and maybe it looked like that, but your tastes change.” Before that, she was offered other fantasy or period films, but preferred to wait until she could do something different.
Talking of which, her professional stage debut certainly ticks that box. Ridley, known for troubling plays such as Mercury Fur or Dark Vanilla Jungle, has written six “gender-neutral” monologues, including one long one that is one of Henley’s favourites, about a teenaged sexual experience that may or may not have been entirely consensual. How you view it, Henley suggests, depends on which night you attend. She and her co-star, Tyrone Huntley, alternate who performs which three monologues each night. “You’ve got me, a white, straight woman, and Tyrone is a black, gay man; it’s two entirely different identities, but it’s the same words.”
Henley was already a fan of Ridley and had even written an essay about him at Cambridge, although she was mortified when one of the producers told him this. She will not let him read it, she says with a chuckle. She did some directing at university and would like to do more. Later this year she shoots her next short film. Beyond that some other work seems to be looming, but nothing she is sure about yet. She lives on her own, loves having her own space and isn’t in a relationship. “I’m a single Pringle. I don’t know how people my age have time for anything like that because I sure as hell don’t. I’m trying to keep myself together, let alone worry about someone else.”
The previous day she had picked up her first pay cheque for Angry.Fringe wages can’t be huge, but she’s thrilled to be paid for doing a job she loves. She is happiest when working. “Some child actors grow up and their career gets quite calculated. Their management say, ‘You can do an indie film, then you have got to do a blockbuster, and then you can do two more indies,’ but I’m just looking for stuff that scares me and challenges me; things I haven’t done before. Because I still feel like I don’t know anything and I have still got lots to learn, so having to jump in at the deep end like this . . .” she laughs. There is nowhere to hide when you’re doing monologues. “And that is terrifying, but it’s also a gift.”
